Stars and Stripes Pillow with Wonderland Fabric by Rifle Paper Co

Soooo.....it has been awhile since I foundation paper pieced and I forgot just how much I LOVE the crisp points!  They are just so lovely! Yay for precise points with no pins....whoo hoo!

When Jemima (Tied With a Ribbon) asked if I wanted to test her Stars and Stripes Pillow Pattern...of course I said YES. I just love her patterns plus this one was perfect for fussy cutting my Wonderland Fabric by Rifle Paper Co.  I love the Stars and Stripes pattern as Jemima included both patterns with great instructions for foundation paper piecing, which is super helpful if you are new to it or need a refresher ;).

Fabric I used for my Stars and Stripes Pillow (size 16.5"x 16.5")

Clementine Quilt Along with Fat Quarter Shop and Moda - Month 3

Welcome to Month Three of the Clementine Quilt Along Fundraiser with Fat Quarter Shop! I love that Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics have partnered together to match donations up $20,000 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

My fabrics
I choose my favorite Bonnie & Camille Aqua Fabrics to make my Clementine Quilt monochromatic. I am loving monochromatic projects right now!

Making the Blocks-

Tip-
I chose to cut my A and C squares to 2.5" (small block) and 3.5" (large block). This allowed me to trim my half square triangles to size.

Hideaway Quilt with Art Gallery Fabrics and Fat Quarter Shop

Happy Quilting Day! I'm excited to share my Hideaway Quilt with Nest Fabrics by Art Gallery Fabrics and Fat Quarter Shop! When Kimberly at Fat Quarter Shop was sharing the sneak peek of the video....I knew I had to make this quilt. I am so happy that I was able to participate in the Quilt Along!!!!

The Hideaway Quilt Pattern is free and is super quick to sew as it features the ADORABLE Nest Panel. I just love those bears...plus I have three kids...so perfect!

Supplies:
6. Happy Cloud Batting- I chose Bamboo/Cotton 50/50. This is a thin batting so the quilt has a lovely drape and is perfect for spring! Don't worry FQS also has 100% Cotton or the 80/20 Cotton/Poly Blend too.

Modern Plus Sign Quilt Book Hop

I'm super excited be part of the Modern Plus Sign Quilt Book Hop for Cheryl and Paige's new book! I seriously love each project and want to sew each one!  They are amazing!

It was hard to decide which project to sew first, but I chose the Rick Rack Runner as I needed a green table runner for March! Plus I had the best bundle of green Sweetwater Fabrics to use!

Supplies:

I did adapt the pattern a bit and only made one row for my table runner as I prefer a more narrow table runner for my table. This is a super quick pattern to sew! If you hurry... you can have one sewn before St.Patrick's Day ;).

Layered Brick Quilt with Quilt 101

I'm so excited to share Quilt 101 with you today!!!! Quilt 101 is a mother/daughter team that provides  modern PRECUT quilts! Yes....the kits are all PRECUT- so you can start sewing right away!!!

I chose the Baby Size- Layered Brick- Hello Bear quilt and it came packaged perfectly!

I love that each group of fabric is labeled so you know exactly which precut fabric is what. Plus isn't that the cutest quilt label ever!!!

Sooooo- you may noticed that my quilt is a quite a bit bigger than a baby quilt. When I started laying out the fabric....I knew that I needed to make it larger as I wanted this Layered Brick Quilt on my family room couch! So I cut up my backing  plus a few fat quarters I had to make a large lap size (the pattern includes all the sizes!)....this is also why my quilt has more duplicates ;).

Flora and Fawn Range Backpack

I love backpacks! I love how they hold so many items plus I can be hands free....yay!!! I've been using my North Face Backpack from college (I can't believe it has lasted so long!).....so it was time for a new back pack! I knew I wanted to use the gorgeous fawn fabric from Flora and Fawn by Amanda Herring with Riley Blake Designs. Those sweet deer and flowers have me all heart eyes!

Deciding on the best backpack pattern for me took some time. I wanted a full size back that was functional plus looked great too! I love Noodlehead's patterns so I thought her Range Backpack would be perfect....and it was!!!

When I opened up the 20 page pattern (eek)- I freaked out a bit and thought do I really want to sew a 20 page pattern???  I am so glad did because the reason why the pattern is quite long is that she explains EVERY step with words and diagrams....which was sooooooo helpful! I love how clearly written and easy to follow the pattern was! Success!

Making your Range Backpack
3. Range Backpack pattern by Noodlehead  (pattern includes recommendations for interfacing, zipper, and hardware).

I took soooooo many pictures of my backpack because it was a gorgeous sunny day and I LOVE it! So sit back and relax ;)

I was so excited that I was able to line up the deer for the pockets and side panels of the bag! Fussy cutting for the win!!!!
